Description:
Duties:
. Participate in multiple core team calls, cross-functional program development and launch teams, representing Indirect National Retailers in order to accomplish business objectives
. Manage Commission Web Tool order flow and maintenance
. Manage and maintain Indirect Mystery Shop Program for Indirect National Retailers
. Manage and maintain concession programs for Indirect National Retailers
. Manage Area sales and customer service support initiatives and programs as assigned (locations databases, on-line information reference tools, sales contests, sales support functions, sales follow-up program, etc.)
. Maintain Area communication process to ensure successful implementation of objectives
- Support New National Retailer Launches
. Support training requirements as it relates to National Distribution
- Support/Maintain Indirect National Retailer Operational Processes and Procedures at the Area and HQ level
. Responsible for merchandising implementation and understanding planogram variants among different retailers
. Support Compliance and Audit personnel with all operational initiatives
. Track Indirect National Retailer location openings and closings and related lifecycle maintenance
. Work with Region Consultants and cross-functional contacts to ensure compliance with established procedures in the channel (inventory, systems, reporting)
. Act as Area liaison to Region indirect distribution contacts
. Work with Region/Area/HQ to create special programs, contests and incentive programs to drive sales within contractual retailer guidelines
. Recommend, document, implement, and manage integration, standardization, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in business or related work experience
. Minimum 2 years wireless industry experience
. Two years of successful front line customer service or sales experience in a retail environment preferred
. Working knowledge of communication store and/or indirect agent operations preferred.
. Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access) applications and ability to prepare reports, presentations, and summary documents. Knowledge of Verizon Wireless point-of-sale, billing, and inventory systems preferred.
. Strong Project Management background preferred; project management with cross-functional teams
. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; superior written and oral communication skills
. Experience managing launches of products/services/programs to support sales and operations.
. Proven leadership ability; Strategic planning skills
. Ability to conduct effective on-site visits to assigned stores for training and evaluation of compliance with established standards.
. Ability to manage multiple projects and intiatives simultaneously in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Highly developed organizational skills.
. Ability to motivate/manage diverse work groups to maximize performance.
. Ability to handle unusual situations effectively and respond positively to new ideas
. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions and redefined priorities
. Ability to effectively solve complex problems
. Ability to work flexible hours. Some travel required.
