Customer Relations / Account Management

TOPS, the leader in package design, cargo load planning and distribution software, has immediate full-time openings for talented and energetic personnel to serve its expanding customer base.

 

The Customer Relations / Account Management (MVP Sales) position requires working with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction by responding to customers? product related questions in a courteous and prompt manner. This entails making at least 50 outbound calls a day and frequent follow up with customers. There will be occasional (5-10%) travels to provide product training and working in trade shows. Key responsibilities include:

 Manage existing customers and ensure renewal of annual software maintenance plan Call targeted companies to identify key contacts, uncover sales opportunitiesUp-sell and cross-sell existing customers on other company softwareOutbound calling to database prospects, prospective customer lists and conduct call campaigns in support of TOPS marketing activities Prepare quotes and help facilitate closing sales process Work with TOPS technical support team to assist customers on use of software Follow up on leads from web site, advertising and trade shows Provide product training and demos over the internet or on-location Work on special marketing projects to retain customers and update customer database

 

This is a position with diverse responsibilities. Ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter with an outgoing personality, able to develop and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with our customers, a fast learner, to provide information about our products and to identify and resolve client issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS Degree from a 4 year college Proficient with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products, Goldmine a plus Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong listening, interpersonal and telephone skills Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving skills High energy, independent and enthusiastic quick learner Self-motivated, with positive attitude Able to work independently and make decisions in a team-focused environment Ability to multitask and prioritize
