Campus TeleVideo (CTV) is the nation?s largest private cable operator dedicated exclusively to the college and university market, serving over 130 campuses and 175,000 subscribers nationwide. For over 20 years, CTV has specialized in providing turnkey video and data solutions for colleges and universities seeking an alternative to the local cable operator.

CTV seeks motivated individual to provide customer service within our existing account base, assist in lead generation and various marketing related activities. Ideal candidate will have a background in customer service/sales with an emphasis on technology services including data and or cable television.

 

Responsibilities include:Work closely with the sales team and customer account management team to identify opportunities in an established prospect base.  Regular communications with sales and customer account teams to share pertinent information about prospects. Support the sales team and Customer Account Managers in developing leads and maintaining customer accounts. Assist in RFP and Proposal Preparation Respond to customer calls and inquiries to address customer service related issues Cold call customers within designated market areas to qualify leads and explain the services offered. Build and expand existing database of clients through cold calling efforts Collect information that is important to our sales process and model. Maintain professional and positive contact with current and potential clients Implement business development campaigns, newsletters and other correspondence designed to focus on various aspects of our service offering. Develop lists of prospects from higher education directories, database, trade shows and professional associations memberships Coordinates various marketing fulfillment duties and systems including direct mail, packages, letters, and other sales literature. May conduct follow-up calls to marketing events.

 

Requirements:Energetic professional with at least 3 years customer service/marketing experienceExcellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills Excellent customer service and negotiation skills. Results oriented, self reliant, self starter Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple activities Good with numbers and account profitability management Good computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Powepoint, Word) Previous cable TV experience++ Previous technology experience with Internet, data or telecom focus ++ Sales engineering experience++ Experience with university environments ++ Knowledge of Salesforce.com++
