That?s because our client seeks a direct, hands-on Regional Sales Manager who enjoys being out in front of your customer base in the middle of the action.  So, for all desk jockeys who prefer to stay behind a computer doing reports, this might be the wrong horse for you to saddle up!

 

You'll use your team-oriented, relationship-building, hands-on, multi-tasking style and great communications and computer skills to make calls on your specialty distributors throughout California and the Western U.S., introducing new products to your customers as well as training distributor sales representatives. You should be strong at maintaining and growing sales with your existing customer base.   Our client has a very down-to-earth culture, and you should not be afraid to share your ideas!  They are a very stable, international company and promote primarily from within.

 

Our ideal candidate should have at least 3-10 years? experience in sales of electrical or lighting products (motors, fixtures, lamps, wiring devices, ballasts, dimmers/controls) to a wholesaler/distributor customer base, preferably as a Sales Manager, but outstanding sales representatives ready to go to the next level will be considered!   Experience with energy-related sales is a plus. Candidates based in Southern California, especially Los Angeles, are preferred, but the exceptional person located in any major metro area within the western region (Seattle, San Francisco, Phoenix) is also a possibility!  BA/BS a plus, but not essential.  70% travel.
