Director, Learning Technologies

General Description:

The Director of Learning Technologies is responsible for directing all functions and operations of the Learning Technologies division including, but not limited to, annual fiscal year budget preparation and planning for the department. The incumbent?s primary responsibility will be to grow current client business and actively solicit and secure new strategic technology partnerships with government agencies, companies and organizations. 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned as dictated by business and market conditions, but will include-

?  Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's overall technology business especially satellite uplink and teleconference business.

?  Provide sales and marketing in order to produce a continued and sustained growth of the learning technologies business. 

?  Provide technical and support assistance to the V.P./Sales in the service and maintenance of the Pennsylvania Lottery contract.

?  Continually assess the competitiveness of all technology programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.

?  Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed  client base expansion.

?  Meets with key clients and maintains relationships along with negotiating and closing deals.

?  Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

Bachelor?s Degree and seven to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  The position requires an energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. The individual will be a strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player. An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills. A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor. A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective.
