The Director of Sales Administration/Development is responsible for overseeing and leading all sales support activities, including, volume projections, product commercialization support, national/regional sales promotions planning and support, sales and educational presentations support, sales training, and sales performance tracking and reporting. This position will assist the Director of External Sales in the development and execution of the national sales strategy. This position is responsible for managing the needs of account executives (internal/external) and ensuring they are supplied with the appropriate data, information, and strategic guidance to effectively develop and execute their regional plans, target lists, projections, and promotional activities. The Director of Sales Development works very closely with other departments (Strategic Planning, Marketing, Communications, and Finance) to develop and execute sales development activities and initiatives in support of defined corporate objectives.
Job Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree. Graduate degree is desirable.
? 8-10 years of proven sales and sales support experience. 5+ years in a management capacity. Working knowledge of financial aid and student loan programs and applicable regulations strongly preferred. Prior knowledge of Access Group?s loan products and services is helpful.
? Superior understanding and experience in key sales development activities (sales strategy planning and execution, volume projections development, performance tracking and reporting, national/regional sales promotions, presentation and collateral development, product development and implementation, and sales and product training).
? Ability to work well in a team environment and to collaborate with internal and external resources.
? Strong written and oral communication skills.
? Strong business and industry acumen, including analytical and financial skills.
