Distribution Sales Manager-VAR

We are currently looking for a Distribution Channel Sales Manager to work in the Western Region.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for selling to National/ Technical distributors and will be Managing Sales to end user VARs through Sales Representatives.

 

Other duties to include:

 Achieve the Sales Plan to sell the product to the National and Technical

Distributors in the Region meet and exceed quota.Develop Territory plans for the region that provide coverage in key markets toMaximize the sales opportunity to the end user through the Sales Rep?s.Negotiate contracts with Distributors. Implement VAR reseller

Program in the region.Work with marketing to develop short and long term product, Sales and

Pricing plans.Use available promotional funding to maximize salesDevelop and administer the annual Regional sales budget.Direct the Regional sales force to increase the sales to the end user.Maintain and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed budgeted sales expectations.Develop sales forecasts on a monthly and rolling basis through analysis and Interpretation of all available data.

 

Requirements:

 Exceptional skills in early detection, and timely resolution of customer issues.Insight in the Sales / Marketing cycle and how and where to optimize sales opportunities as they arise. Must have a sound technical background and a thorough knowledge of sales practices and strategies of the Document Imaging and Scanner systems industry.10 + years experience in the imaging systems sales environment.Exceptional written, oral, presentation, and negotiating skills required.
