E9-1-1 Account Manager

As an Account Manager with Verizon Business, you will be responsible for the account management and sales to the E9-1-1 customer set in Indiana.  Customer focus and establishing solid business relationships is key to success in the Government / Education market.  You will work on complex bids, develop business strategy, work closely with customers to build short term and long term initiatives and maintain customer awareness of Verizon Business products and services.  Requires a self motivated and self disciplined individual with strong business, organizational, communication and professional sales experience to work independently.  Deliver sales objectives, provide 30-60-90 day forecast and create and maintain strong sales funnel.

You will perform complex sales-related and administrative tasks under self-direction.  You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of all product offerings, company technology, competitors, Government State and local markets.  You will use professional selling concepts and skills to overcome difficult selling situations in new or imaginative ways.

 

Job Qualifications/Required Skills:


* 5 years of demonstrated success in selling products and services to the E9-1-1 customer set.
* Account management skills, strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills. 
* Strong leadership abilities.
* Strong planning control and follow up skills. 
* Strong computer skills.
* Strong financial selling skills.
* Strong technical knowledge of telephony network switching and E9-1-1 call processing.
* ENP certification. Knowledge and experience with State/County/City/Local budgeting process.
