Home Loan Sales Originator - Home Equity / Ecommerce - Phoenix, AZ

This position is responsible for the following:  OUTBOUND SALES CALLING - Originate real estate secured consumer loans from individuals who have either requested information through the Internet and other potentials sources. Counsel customers regarding loan features to ensure high-quality customer services. Present loan offers, overcome objections, and fulfill loan applications. Update system with loan application information and gain loan commitment. UNDERWRITING - Interview customers to determine level of risk. Discuss products and rates that are available. Apply knowledge of products to identify and sell appropriate loan products. Analyze customer's credit information and make prudent underwriting decisions per policies and within designated lending authority. Underwrite loan requests, ensure file accuracy, complete and submit for processing. PIPELINE MANAGEMENT - Maintain customer pipeline. Organize and prioritize leads and determine ideal timeframe to follow up. 


 


Must possess at a minimum 1 year of demonstrated telephone sales experience/skills
1 - 2 years of consumer lending or first mortgage lending experience preferred.
Demonstrated effective customer service and communication skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment performing multiple tasks.
Analytical and time management skills to maintain focus on production.
