As a Senior Banker in Commercial Real Estate Banking, your primary role as an individual contributor will be to grow and retain profitable relationships within the Southwest Commercial Real Estate Region, primarily in Phoenix and Las Vegas.   You will be responsible for managing less experienced staff, and focusing on generating revenues.  This is accomplished by focusing on the delivery of value added solutions to our clients and prospects that will help them reach their goals and maximize our revenues over the life of the relationship.  You, as the focal point of the client relationship, will be responsible for providing credit products and to orchestrate the interfacing with product partners.  You must be a fully experienced, qualified banker capable of independent activity.  You should have proven client relationship skills as well as extensive product knowledge, technical expertise and strong transaction execution skills 

 

You will develop a sales plan prioritizing most promising revenue generating sales opportunities and be responsible for cultivating referral sources, institutionalization of relationships and aggressive calling.  You will also seek opportunities to cross sell into every relationship and anticipate the future needs of the client. Credit process management is a critical component of your success.

 

 



REQUIRED

 

Candidate must be well established in the Southwestern marketplace and well connected with professional referral sources in the area.

Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary Real Estate Banking Representative.

A minimum of  8 - 10 years of Commercial Real Estate Banking, sales and relationship management experience.

Typically a minimum of eight years direct lending or credit support related experience.

Candidate must be a top individual contributor with strong leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development.

Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships with an established track record of success.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Possesses strong creative solution and problem solving skills.

Must have demonstrated experience in cross-selling products and an ability and track record to meet or exceed aggressive sales goals.

Ability to establish and build relationships with customers.

Must be able to conduct high-level sales presentations.

Coordinate the sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners.

Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation and documentation of credit request.

Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, treasury, investment, and other bank products; preferably with execution experience.

Occasional travel within our Southwest and Intermountain region and occasional travel elsewhere.
