This is a key account specialist role focused on working with the regional chains within the direct channel to acquire new regional chains and penetrate existing regional chains within a designated territory.  The key account manager will manage relationships with assigned regional chains to ensure maximum profitability and to build growth.  Presents and sells programs to accelerate Sara Lee Foodservice’s penetration strategy and new acquisitions with gourmet, liquid, premium coffee solutions.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing business relationships with local and regional chain customers.  Providing these local/regional chains with information regarding sales performance, profitability, and placement of products to increase sales profitability.  Ensure current customers are in compliance with sales agreements.  Identify opportunities and penetrate regional chains focused on premium coffee & tea solutions (gourmet roast & ground, liquid, and tea).
Responsible for identifying and acquiring new local and regional chain opportunities.  Develop action plan to acquire new accounts within the designated market place.  Meets new business objectives agreed upon by the organization.
Own and penetrate high priority cup tier 5 accounts with gourmet product line. 
Work with the customer care and service organization to ensure customer satisfaction.


Ensure3-5 years experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Prior experience managing larger accounts
Demonstrated high level of customer ownership
Experience conducting business reviews
Multi-Unit Experience
Solution versus product sell
Advanced Presentation Skills
Ability to travel up to 50% - varies by market
Sales agreement compliance
