LA Outside Sales (Entry Level)

Our Recruiters work with our clients and a high energy team of TEKsystems Sales Managers, Customer Service Associates and others to identify, screen, interview, present and hire qualified candidates for contract and permanent positions. 

  Essential Functions: 

Reporting to the Director of Branch Operations, the Account Manager is responsible for all steps associated with sales process.  Responsibilities include:Managing existing accounts

?  Developing new business opportunities within existing accounts while increasing account knowledge and updating strategies for account development

?  Providing customer service to current consultants and clients within the account and creating an intimate customer relationshipGenerating sales leads, cold calling prospective clients and establishing strategies to develop business and sales in new clientsUnderstanding and supporting customer needs and hiring cyclesPreparing and delivering effective proposals to customersWorking in a team environment, providing feedback, and coaching the recruiter population

 Educational & Experience Requirements:

? Bachelor?s degree preferred or work related experience

? Minimum of 2+ years of successful sales experience preferred

? Experience in staff augmentation or other service-oriented sales, especially within the IT industry preferred

?  TEKsystems? recruiting experience can replace the latter two preferences.  The Account Manager position is frequently achievable through internal promotion opportunities from a Recruiter to an Account Manager position.

? Excellent written and oral communication skills

? A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills, and a high standard of professionalism and character are musts

? A desire to learn and teach is needed
