Job Description

This position reports to assigned Field Sales Management. Responsible for selling specific, assigned products and providing technical support for the sale of these products within an assigned territory in accordance with established company guidelines.? Exceeding orders budget for assigned products within assigned territory? Achieving Regional objectives for price realization for assigned products in cooperation with Regional goals? Works with Regional and or Area Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to develop overall Regional and Territory Sales Plans? Penetrates competitive accounts ? Obtains clean orders at the best possible price realization ? Reviews with Regional Sales Management prospects and competitive activity ? Takes an active role in working with Sales Manager and the Account Manager on open prospect tracking, forecasting and sales strategies for short-term business? Maintains technical knowledge to keep Sales Representatives current on product features and technical advantages? In conjunction with the Sales Representative, responsible for enhancing overall relationship between PMSNA and specific accounts, representing assigned products in these accounts and maintaining appropriate contacts? Trains Sales Representatives on product, competitive information, and sales strategies ? Maintains a customer reference list for appropriate site visits ? Provides competitive information to marketing, recommends required sales support information and co-develop such material, as required? Completes any special tasks or duties as assigned by the Field Sales Management ? Responsible for maintaining and increasing PMSNA customer goodwill in assigned region

Requirements

Ideal candidate with have a minimum of five years experience in high-tech capital equipment sales. Must have clinical and technical product understanding as well as, Radiology/Helathcare department operations knowledge. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are paramount to success in this position. Must have strategic selling skills and the ability to support a sales force with varying levels of experience. Computer literacy and training and coaching experience required. BA/BS degree required, Masters degree preferred. RT certification or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
