Major Account Manager -Copiers/Printers

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Major Account Manager I position is responsible for building and maintaining sales in Fortune 2,000, Education, Health Care and other vertical market end-user accounts in the U.S. This position will call on accounts in the Chicago area

 

 

 

 

Experience:

 

? This position will require a mature, "field" seasoned salesperson with a minimum of 3-5  years printer selling experience to Fortune 1,000 -2,000 and Education End-users. 

 

? Product knowledge should be heavily weighted in the "Back Office" area, (Monochrome/Color Printer, Network, TCO environments) however, experience and understanding of Office Automation products, such as, Digital Copiers and various Network Applications, should be considered.

 

? PC proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Contact Management Software needed.

 

? Must be experienced in ALL aspects of account sales management: Forecasting, Management of assigned resources, Prioritize accounts calling on those with highest potential, Etc.

 

? Must be able to travel up to 4 days per week with 60% in the Chicago area.

 

? A college degree or equivalent experience in business is preferred.

 

 

? Territory- Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska

? Candidates must have experience selling to National accounts not VARS.

? Comp- Base$ $55k, Bonus $18k, Commission $32k.  Estimated package $105k
