Major Accounts Advertising Executive

We have an excellent opportunity for a Major Accounts Advertising Account Executive at our Woodland Hills facility.

 

The Los Angeles Newspaper Group (?LANG?), which is part of one of the largest newspaper chains in the nation and is committed to growth, has an immediate opening for a senior level sales position in our Major Accounts Advertising Division.  This position is responsible for growing category segments of business such as Major Sporting Goods and Office Supply Stores as well as Automotive Aftermarket.  In addition we are looking for strong new business development sales with a proven track record in a competitive sales environment.

 

A college degree is preferred as well as a minimum of 3+ years experience in executive sales preferably with a newspaper, agency or other media. Experience working within the Sporting Goods, Office Supply or Auto Aftermarket Industry a plus!  We are looking for someone that is motivating with very high energy that can work well within a competitive but lucrative sales environment.

 

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication & presentation skills, strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills, who can think creatively and effectively to sell a wide array of products and services in a deadline driven environment. Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft office.  Valid CA driver?s license, reliable transportation and proof of current auto insurance required.
