This position will be ideally located in Chicago. In this position the candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business partnerships with engineering, product management, procurement and other key decision makers at Motorola. Candidate will be expected to understand the key business issues facing the account and offer mutually beneficial solutions. Candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, with the intention of driving all phases of design-in and sales of our semiconductor and peripheral products to Motorola. The candidate is required to identify and close on new design opportunities, provide forecast for existing business and drive internal activities all with the intent of providing better customer satisfaction and increasing sales. The candidate will interface directly with the Customer as well as internal marketing, engineering and demand planning groups in order to meet the goals and objectives. Must possess excellent communication skills and be adept in building team consensus.

 

Successful candidates will have 6-8 years of related sales experience, preferably working with Motorola. The individual in this position must be able to develop and execute sales penetration plans and have a proven track record of successfully designing-in proprietary products at major OEM accounts. The ideal candidate will have: a broad business background, strong problem solving skills, and demonstrated creativity in overcoming sales barriers. This individual must be able to make professional and compelling presentations; communicate effectively to large and small audiences; and have strong organization and time management skills.



6 - 8 years of prior OEM sales experience.

Prior experience with: creating and executing major account penetration plans.

Prior experience with: LCD, Semiconductor, Battery and peripheral products.

The ideal candidate will have: a broad business background, strong problem solving skills, and demonstrated creativity in overcoming sales barriers.
This individual must be able to make professional and compelling presentations; communicate effectively to large and small audiences; and have strong organization and time management skills.
BS degree in engineer/business or equivalent experience, an MBA would be a plus.
