Position Summary
Manage the interface at the Customer Category level, resulting in achievement of volume and profit targets. Customize and implement corporate strategies and Category Plans with the Customer. Responsible for selling strategies and tactics of Customer Category Plans through to retail execution. Primary customer point of contact at the Category level for Sara Lee Food&Beverage interacting primarily with the Customer Buyers/Category Managers and Directors of Merchandising.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and develop Sara Lee Food&Beverage and the Customers' business by functioning as the Customer/Category expert and primary sales contact. Lead the Customer in the execution/application of Category Business Plans, scorecard development/tracking, and plan evaluations.
Develop and manage Customer/Category Business Plans that result in achievement of volume and profit targets.
Responsible for timely and effective communication of Customer/Category information.
Manage Category Development Manager(s) (as applicable) by providing consistent direction and support, skill development through coaching and training, performance appraisals, and motivation to achieve maximum productivity.
Qualifications (education and experiences)Bachelor's Degree required.Minimum of five years functional experience with four to six years CPG Sales and/or Category Management experience required.
