Manager, Technical Sales

Sensus Metering Systems, a leading worldwide provider of water, gas, and electric meters; clamp and coupling products; and Automated Meter Reading (AMR) systems, has an immediate need for a Manager of Technical Sales in our Northern Area Sales Region.

 

The Technical Sales Manager will assist Regional Sales Managers in promotion, sales and problem-solving activities associated with all aspects of water products throughout the Northern Sales Region (Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and New England).  Candidates should be capable of analyzing needs, suggesting solutions, and conducting effective training for field sales or others associated with the selling or servicing of metering products. We are searching for a highly motivated, organized leader who is self-reliant and possesses the demonstrated ability to positively promote the Sensus image and the Northern Sales Region?s philosophies.

 

This position requires a Bachelors degree in a technical area of study or the equivalent, and a minimum of five years of successful sales experience in the water meter, electronics, or RF device industries. All candidates must have excellent training and communication skills, and a firm grasp of personal computers and current business-related software, and the ability and desire to travel.
