Marketing Specialist

Illinois Tool Works has recently been named one of America's most admired companies by a prominent business publication.  We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to help maintain this standing at one of our leading divisions, Paslode.  Paslode is an industry leading manufacturer of cordless and pneumatic fastening systems, including the Duo-Fast? brand.  As Marketing Specialist, you will assist the Marketing Team in proactive participation in the business by offering creative solutions.  This position will be involved in Trade Focus activities, in creating business strategies and new product development.  This is a project-oriented position and is a combination of specific assignments and approved projects. The role exists to provide an opportunity for the Specialist to integrate a wider range of marketing and business responsibilities as well as to develop key characteristics (drive, communication, creativity, etc.) that are necessary for higher positions within the Marketing Team.

You will be:Assisting in the development and implementation of complete demand creation strategies based on the end-users objectivesParticipating in and driving new product devleopment teams to capitalize on quantified key market opportunities.Generating information and knowledge regarding end-users' needs and wantsManaging marketing communication strategies and tactics. Assisting with the co-ordination and preparation of marketing communication tactics.

 

Qualifications include a four year degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
