NATIONAL KEY ACCOUNT SALES MANAGER

HYI, a California based Sporting Goods company, is seeking a Key Account Manager.  The ideal candidate would have previous experience in the sporting goods environment specifically fishing and hunting.  Only individuals with sporting goods experience will be considered.  The following is a general outline of the responsibilities and requirements.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

?  Develop and track business plan by buyer and category to accomplish sales and profit goals.

?  Analyze retail sales and inventory in order to maximize profits for account and vendor.

?  Create and deliver sales presentations to merchandise buyers.

?  Research market to determine demand of existing and new products or services.

?  Recommend adjustments of sales forecast and inventory data to replenishment personnel and operations manager.

?  Maintain knowledge of industry, competitors, products, merchandise promotions and marketing campaigns.

?  Compare competition representation and pricing at retail store level.

?  Attend key trade shows.

?  Skilled in Wal-Mart Retail Link, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
