National Account Executive

Purpose/Primary Function: 
Ownership of relationships and execution of programs with assigned new and existing National Accounts, at both the Headquarters and Regional Purchasing Offices..  Metrics:  conversion of targets, expansion of sales at existing accoutns, quality of execution, strength of relationships. 

Scope of Position:
National Account Representative is responsible for ownership of assigned HQ and regional relationships and newly identified National Accounts, exceeding sales objectives and controlling expenses within assigned budget. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Execute programs in order that National Accounts exceed annual volume goals.  Build strong relationships through professional value-oriented selling.  (75%)

2) Work well with Trex Field sales organization at both RSM and local level to design, implement, and effectively execute account programs. (15%)


3) Contribute to the creation of volume tracking system for National Account Dealers including purchases from Distribution and sales out, as well as identifying and pursuing other ways to improve infrastructure and execution of Nation Accounts team.  (5%)

4) Administration/reporting including sales call reports, monthly summary reports, and strategic account planning.  (5%)

Education, Experience, and Competencies required:

? Minimum of seven years outside sales experience required.

? Four-year college degree.

? Ideally, 2 years Headquarters and Regional office National Account selling experience.

? Executive level presentation skills.

? Experience in management of sales channel partners (distributors, dealers).

? Outstanding organization skills.

? Demonstrated influencing skills.

? Results oriented.

? Team player.
