National Accounts Specialist

NATIONAL ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST

 

Leading manufacturer of architectural products is seeking a Chicago based National Accounts Specialist.  The National Accounts Specialist will report directly to the National Sales Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

*Responsible for increasing sales and profits through the development of national accounts

*Analyze major target accounts and new market opportunities for increased penetration

*Establish and achieve business goals for selected accounts including preparation of detailed sales plans

*Calls on national accounts, gives sales presentations, and ensures adequate sales services

*Responsible to  build and maintain strong customer relations with key accounts and increase customer satisfaction

*Work with cross functional teams (customer service, inside sales, architectural representative, etc.) to address customer needs and requirements

*Attend selected national and regional trade shows

*Responsible for the capture and close of immediate short term project/sales opportunities

 

Qualifications:

*B.S./B.A. in Business, Interior Design, Architecture or other related discipline

*Minimum of 4 years of proven field sales experience in architectural/specification sales

*Minimum of 3 years of National/Major Account sale experience

*Ability to work with cross functional team of employees

*Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentations, and time management skills required

*Ability to travel

*Enjoys working in a fast paced flexible environment
