Position: National Key Accounts Manager General Markets Position Range: $53,000 - $86,000Sales DepartmentHiring Range: $53,000 - $69,000 plus commission
Responsibilities
? Achieve 100% of the revenue & profit goals for the assigned General Market accounts
? Assist in developing & achieving objectives for gross sales & returns as a percent of gross sales
? Provide weekly feedback & reports to the Vice President of General Market Sales
? Assist in planning, leadership and dissemination of information to each account for strategic business meetings and key title presentations
? Construct sales strategies and plans to achieve market share objective for each account executive for the respective product groups that are mutually beneficial for the accounts and Zondervan
? Assist other national account managers and directors with ideas, past experience, and opportunities to grow the respective business with the General Market channel
? Provide forecast and sales projections for seasonal promotions, new releases and large orders
? Manage cooperative advertising budgets for each account
 
Knowledge/Experience
? BA or BS degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent work experience
? 3-5 years professional marketing & sales experience
? Understanding of finance
? Knowledge of publishing industry
? Understanding of Retail metrics and benchmarks
? Understanding of Supply chain systems, forecasting and replenishment models
 
Skills
? Excellent interpersonal skills
? Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, database, word processing)
? Strong organizational & project management skills
? Ability to prioritize & handle multiple tasks
? Ability to lead productive meetings
? Strong decision making skills
