National Sales Account Manager

Shonfeld?s USA, the hottest gift and home d?cor company in the United States, is looking for a National Sales Account Manager for our Bath & Home Fragrance Division. This position, reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Bath & Home Fragrance, will be responsible for achievement of the division's sales targets and the development and nurturing of long-term relationships with our customers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Sales:

a. Achieve defined revenue and gross margin targets within specified budgetary parameters

b. Deliver company sales presentations and product demonstrations with current and potential customers  

c. Define and pursue opportunities for market/customer growth

d. Develop pricing and marketing strategies for growing key accounts

e. Submit timely and consistent sales forecasts and status reports to management

f. Assist in market development activities

g. Represent the company at trade shows

h. Monitor and control expenses to conform to budgetary requirements

i. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

 

2. Account Management:

a. Develop and manage effective relationships with key members of customer accounts

b. Accountable for performing market research, competitor and customer surveys, and communicating results and trends to Management

 

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Minimum 5 years experience with national account management in parallel industry (giftware, home d?cor, gourmet food, etc.)Proven ability to increase sales volume in existing accounts as well as generate sales from new accounts. Proven ability to establish core relationships with customersUnderstanding of customer?s sales, logistics and product needsUnderstanding of company product development processes as it relates to customer product timing requirementsUnderstanding of merchandising solutionsAbility to travel often (weekly) in key selling seasons
