New Jersey- Senior Account Representative
GES Exposition Services, a leading tradeshow and event marketing company, is seeking a high energy, growth ?oriented professional with demonstrated leadership abilities, integrity and passion for hassle ?free service for the position of Senior Account Representative at our Teterboro, New Jersey facility.
Function:
To coordinate and assist Account Manager with show functions. In addition to operate as the show Account Manager on small to medium shows.
General Responsibilities:
Coordinates and performs production on small to medium size tradeshows including
service kit ordering, floor layout, booth set up, booth carpet, aisle carpet and furniture and freight
deliveries.
Cross-trains with various departments including kit production, production, freight, warehouse,
GEM and exhibitor services.
Manage resources in cross-functional areas to ensure projects are implemented on schedule and
within budget.
Manage, coordinate and develop all operational aspects of small to medium sized show site
operations including freight, logistics, decorating, GEM and Capstone. Delivers high level of
customer service in the most efficient manner possible.
Assists the Director of Account Management with the administration of department functions as
well as assists Account Managers with the requirements of their shows. Reviews official files for
information.
Assists Account Managers by contacting trade show managers when necessary, to verify basic
show information and late changes.
Coordinates with Account Managers and the Production Department to schedule delivery of
official and exhibitor usage. Monitors last minute orders from the Officials and Exhibitors to
ensure these orders are filled.
Compiles production reports, financial reports and official billing recaps.
Coordinates outside purchases and supplies with purchasing department.
Prepares show reports forms and distributes to Account Manager Advance of each show.
Periodically checks to ensure reports have been submitted in a timely manner.
Copies and distributes production information in a timely manner to appropriate personnel.
Processes and files show reports.
Assists in writing and processing official work orders.
Composes and types letters for Account Managers and the Director of Account Management.
Maintains small to medium sized show financial documents as outlined in departmental SOP.
Is able to assist Account Managers with their show financials as requested.
Maintains a professional appearance at times both in the office and when representing GES at
show site.
Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of
the Director and Account Managers.
Education/Experience:
College Degree Preferred
Two (2) years experience the Trade Shows/Conventions/Hospitality Industry desirable
Experience with Microsoft Office required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to perform clerical duties: filing, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
Must be able to work evening and/or weekends when requested
May require travel
