North East Account Manager/ Field Engineer
CABLCON is an ISO 9001:2000 and TL 9000 Certified manufacturer of cable assemblies and distributor of connectivity products serving the Telecommunication and Automation Industries.
We are in need of an experienced and committed Account Manager to service the North East portion of the United States. We are seeking a qualified individual to contribute to our revenue & profit goals. Candidate will call on assigned geography for the purpose of new business development and incremental sales growth.
Primary Responsibilities:Direct report to the Vice President of SalesGain specification position or approved vendor status (AVL) with Regional Bell Operating Company (Verizon), Independent & Competitive Local Exchange Carriers and all OEM?s in assigned territory Develop and cultivate business with Engineering, Furnish & Installation (EF&I) contractors in assigned territory Provide engineering & technical support to Account Managers when requiredConduct customer follow up, negotiation and closing of inquiriesWork with fellow Account Managers in developing Key Customer sales strategies
Qualifications:Minimum 3 years Telecommunication sales experienceStrong time management abilityProblem solving and decision making skills Relationship builder with technical aptitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelors DegreeExperience with Sales Database Systems (ACT / GoldMine) a plusMicrosoft Office, Excel and Lotus Notes experience
