Job Description

The?Business Development?Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of existing account operations, as well as the development of new business within the region. This candidate will report to the Director of Business Development - North America.

The?Business Development Manager?will interface with Alpha Management to define and execute an ambitious, but achievable, business plan within their region. They will also regularly interface with the company's Program Management professionals in Taiwan to resolve day-to-day account issues and ensure program success through facilitating effective communication between all the stakeholders. This person will also provide a regular interface to our various supplier/partners in the region(s).

Experience Required

- 2 or more years' experience in successful OEM or semiconductor sales within the manufacturing space, with a preference for network equipment manufacturers, as well as an understanding of market needs in Telecommunication (VoIP, WLAN, Data Switching), Data Security (VPNs and Firewalls), and TCP/IP-based network appliances

- Proven revenue generation record in past two years is highly desired

- Experience in developing and maintaining long-term, and strategic, customer relationships and fulfilling expectations

- Successful track record of working independently, without supervision, in a remote territory

- Demonstrated success in growing accounts

- Ability to handle phone calls, on occasion, during non-standard business hours (1-2 times a week)

- Strong presentation and negotiation skills

- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Willing to travel over 20% of the time

- Named Account Managers will be strongly considered

- Bilingual, Mandarin a plus

- Must have experience in managing territory with a quota in excess of $15million
