One 2 One Alliance Manager
In this role, you will manage major strategic customer relationships for the One2One business. The main focus is to maintain the health of every alliance, to grow the scope of the relationship and mine the alliance for additional contract manufacturing opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Further establishing and enhancing the alliance by communicating effectively and frequently with customers to establish and ensure business needs are visible and are being met, ensuring the long-term health of each alliance and assuring continued strategic fit.
Establishing and managing the sales plan and for managing approximately $20MM to $100MM in account sales.
Handling the assessment of customer?s annual forecasts of customer?s sales along with providing background and market research associated with customers products during the financial planning cycles.
Consulting and providing leadership to internal Manufacturing, Research & Development, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs concerning technical and operational issues.
Providing problem resolution by utilizing leadership and management skills to call and facilitate meetings, identify issues, develop action plans, delegate as needed, and follow-up to ensure resolution.
Expanding the scope of the alliance and growing the business through sales and new products from the alliance.
Interacting with One2One Business Development Managers to ensure a smooth transition after contract execution and program development phase.
Ensuring contractual commitments are being met with existing accounts, as well as being responsible for effective negotiations for any new contracts, contract renegotiations, contract extensions, amendments, etc.
To be successful in this position, you must possess:
A Bachelors Degree is a required; an MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred, with at least 3 years of account management, selling to customers or negotiating with suppliers also preferred.
Ability to establish legal documents and to negotiate contractual terms is required. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience interacting with Manufacturing, Research & Development, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs functions.
Understanding of the client companies? strategy, therapeutic market, technical requirements of the existing products, the client?s drug development pipeline, manufacturing capacity impact, regulatory/quality assurance impact, contractual requirements and limitations, and intellectual property associated with the alliances.
Handling accountability for the awareness of risks associated with the product or the alliance and for the communication to Hospira management thereof.
