We are looking for an Outside Sales Engineer.

 

Promotes the sale of electrical or electronic equipment, supplies, or services. Requires professional engineering knowledge sufficient to make judgments involving complex engineering and calculations to persuade potential buyers of the practical value of the product and service.  Prepares financial and operational estimates from blueprints, plans, and other records submitted by potential customers. Reports customers? practices regarding use of company products.  Proposes changes in equipment and use of materials that would result in cost reduction and more efficient operation.  Acquires knowledge about utilization of company products, and handles simple cases subject to review.-Calls on prospective customers..-Maintains contacts with customers in relation to their requirements.-Informs customers of supply and price trends and assists in inventory control.-Makes company services available to customers.-Keeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers.-Responsible for securing and renewing orders, arranging delivery dates and other incidents to actual selling.-Maintains sales program within the territory based in customers estimated requirements. -Checks on competitive activity.

 

 

Requirements include

 

- B.S. degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent and 3-5 years of industrial sales experience.  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  PC skills a must.
