TITLE: Outside Sales Engineer for South Carolina

SECTOR: Valves and controls for power and process generation market.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valve and control applications, valve service capable, corporate sales experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This outside sales position requires travel. The sales individual will be responsible for sales and marketing for either the state of South Carolina. They will:

Contact existing customer base for the power and process industry. Create additional opportunities in these industries.

Search out sales opportunities for our product line as noted on our web site.

Provide valve, valve actuation and control system troubleshooting and service.

Provide detailed expense and call reports for the territory.

Provide projections of product and territory sales targets.

Must have good time and territory management skills.

Must be comfortable making presentations in front of groups.

JOB EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Experience is required with proper valve and instrument installation techniques. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in power generation industry.

4 years experience as an outside industrial salesperson. Prior customer contacts in the industry is a plus.

Minimum 2 years knowledge of power plant mechanical systems, boiler room controls, instrumentation and associated equipment.

High school diploma and an engineering or technology degree is preferred. Comparable work history will be considered.
Knowedge, Skills and Abilities:

Possess strong interpersonal skills.

Working knowledge of MS-Windows XP and MS Office products.

Must be able to use data base software and internet communication software.

Salary/Benefits:
Salary range is $45,000 up based on experience plus commission when goals are met.
We have no limits on the total compensation that can be achieved.
