Product Manager

  PRODUCT MANAGER   PointGuard, a division of ZTR Control Systems, provides 24/7 system monitoring and management solutions for the electric power generation and oil & gas markets.

 

We have an exciting new leadership opportunity for a Product Manager experienced with system solutions for industrial markets. This person will have a commercial focus and will work closely with the Technical Product Manager to assure that our integrated solution meets the market need and the business goals of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Research the markets and customer use-cases in our target industry segments.

? Analyze this information and develop product plans that meet ROI hurdles and company goals.

? Define detailed product and service requirements that combine to form our complete solution.

? Define and communicate product positioning, launch plans, and selling strategy to the sales channel. Conduct product training as needed.

? Participate in management planning and budgeting processes as required.

? Supervise employees within the Commercial Product Management team as required.

 

Requirements:

 

? BS/BA degree in business or engineering. MBA preferred.

? At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Product Management of industrial technical products and services, or related field. Experience with services driven technical solutions preferred.

? Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

? Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task, remain organized, meet deadlines, and develop creative alternatives.

? Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
