REGIONAL SALES ENGINEER

Marway Power Systems is actively recruiting for an REGIONAL SALES ENGINEER for the Northeast Region of the U.S.  For over 25 years, Marway Power Systems has been a leading designer, developer, and world class manufacturer of custom built or COTS single and three phase power distribution systems.  We are an ISO9001:2000 certified quality management systems company.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced, technically oriented, REGIONAL SALES ENGINEER to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for the sale of our entire line of custom and standard, rack-mount and stand-alone, power control, power management, and power distribution products and solutions.  You will proactively identify, develop, and manage the day to day sales and design engineering activities for a wide range of accounts, including some of the largest aerospace, avionics, commercial, industrial, medical, and military OEM?s in the world today on a domestic and international basis.  Names like Agilent, Raytheon, L3, Boeing, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, KLA-Tencor, BAE Systems, General Dynamics, and Northrop Grumman, just to name a few. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience;

 

5 -10 years of technical sales and design experience preferably, but not necessarily, in the "power products industry".  This would include identifying, developing, closing, and supporting a wide range of OEM's in the military, aerospace, avionics, industrial, commercial, telecommunication, utility, medical, and consumer market segments within the geographic area of responsibility.

 

A "hunter" vs. "farmer" mentality with the ability to not just "think outside the box", but disregard the box completely!

 

The ability to react quickly with a "sense of urgency" to an ever changing and demanding work environment and marketplace.

 

Outstanding and proactive account identification, development, management, and relationship building experience.

 

The ability to work independently and proactively from a remote, home-based office environment with limited supervision.

 

Outstanding organizational skills (both written and verbal)

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn current manufacturing basic program

College degree preferred, but will substitute for experience.
