Regional Account Manager - Seattle, WA, US

Description

The Regional Account Manager will call on hospitals selling our Software/Hardware Dictation/Transcription solution that incorporates the latest speech recognition technology. Responsibilities include developing prospects, managing strategic selling opportunities, problem solving, presenting software product solutions and closing sales, while exceeding assigned territory budget. Must be able to meet activity/territory coverage requirements assigned by the healthcare division, develop/implement key account action plans and develop/implement a strategic business plan for the territory assigned. Must be able to influence/persuade various levels of decision-making in order to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome to benefit all parties.

Required Skills:
Skills Required

BA/BS degree or equivalent with a major in business, marketing or health sciences and 3-5 years successful software sales experience.
Qualified candidate will possess superior selling skills with proven sales performance. Must possess excellent verbal and written skills. Must be able to adapt and respond to a medical sales environment as well as develop and implement business plans with well-defined strategies and tactics.
Exhibits ability to understand and effectively utilize technical information and exhibit computer literacy. Must be able to learn and act upon new information in a manner that generates market share and sales growth.
Initiative and positive attitude to enhance relationships and increase productivity of individual and team. Candidate must have proven track record with selling complex Software/Hardware solutions.
Must have experience using Microsoft applications. Individual must be willing to travel as necessary.

Skills Preferred

Experience in the healthcare or medical industry is preferred.
