Regional Curriculum Sales Manager

Carolina Biological Supply Company, located in Burlington, North Carolina, seeks a Regional Curriculum Sales Manager to increase revenue through building effective relationships with targeted school accounts in the Southwest region of the United States.

 

The Sales Manager will call on targeted accounts throughout the assigned region, identifying state and local adoption opportunities for the Company?s hands-on science and math curriculums, Science and Technology for Children?, Science and Technology Concepts for Middle Schools? and Math Out of the Box?, developed specifically for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

 

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively. They also must be a team player who can effectively communicate and work with the Company?s sales staff, product managers, and outside curriculum consultants to identify and seek adoption opportunities.

 

Frequent overnight travel is required.

 

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Education, or Science Minimum of five years of applicable experience in sales or sales managementPrior experience and complete understanding of curriculum instruction and the adoption process for curriculum-based educational materialsExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsProficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
