Regional Sales Associate - San Francisco/Sacramento, CA
Home Diagnostics, Inc., currently a privately held corporation dedicated to manufacturing diabetes testing supplies, is located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Last year HDI achieved sales in excess of $100 million, our fourth straight record year of sales.

HDI currently has an open position for a Regional Sales Associate based out of the San Francisco or Sacramento, California area.? This position will be responsible for Northern California.
?
Successful candidates will be quick to learn, detail oriented, dependable, flexible, and able to function efficiently in a demanding Just-In-Time production environment.
?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
?
????????? Develop new and existing accounts, with a focus within independent drug stores, including regional chain drug stores
????????? Support Regional Account Manager in development of Territory
????????? Gain professional and competitive advantages while building competitive barriers
????????? Act as a consultant with Regional Account Manager both internally at HDI and externally within the sales region
????????? Support Managed Cared, 340B and Department of Correction initiatives
?
QUALIFICATIONS????????
????????? Four year degree in business or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
????????? 2-3 years of retail sales experience with a good understanding of retail distribution and ?product benefits and features? selling
????????? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
????????? Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
????????? Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
????????? Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
????????? Must be able to travel extensively, 40 ? 60% overnight required
????????? Able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing fast paced environment
????????? 2-3 years of Medical Device or related selling experience preferred
