REPORTING ANALYST  

 

Job Responsibilities:
Reynolds Food Packaging (an Alcoa Business) has an opening in our Richmond, VA Headquarters for a Sales Reporting Analyst. This position is responsible for creating standard and ad-hoc Sales and Marketing reports using Oracle based tools, Excel databases, and Discoverer. Reports include the assessment of sales progress versus goals, prior year, and overall trends, and for determining incentive compensation. The position is responsible for daily segment and flash reporting, as well as responding to all daily, weekly and monthly requests.  The position also is responsible for analyzing data and making related recommendations. Additionally, this role compiles data for customer sales review and presentation. 


Job Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years experience in analyzing sales and marketing data. Previous experience in Oracle is required along with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as: Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines is a must. Frequent collaboration with Sales, Management, and Marketing teams is necessary.
 

Key Responsibilities:Daily segment and sales flash reporting Daily Discoverer reporting for commercial team Monthy sales reports with compilation and forwarding to the field. Quarterly business and sales review by territory, region, and national director. Update and maintenance of the sales heirarchy for account assignments by ship to location. Annual plan and monthly reporting for tracking to plan. Daily, weekly, and monthly report tracking and review with management. Monthly key customer reporting ie, WalMart, SuperValu, Sam?s, etc. Support and back up for item/customer master role.

Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Skill/Set and Experience:Superuser in Excel and Access Experience in PowerPoint Discoverer and Oracle Experience Extremely well-organized and self starter Min Years: 2-3 years in analyzing sales and marketing data Min Education:  BS Business, Finance or Accounting
