As a Retail Business Manager in Ace's field team, you'll interact directly with our retailers and their associates to help Ace in our mission to be the most helpful hardware store on the planet. By building detailed business plans with our store owners and helping them execute them, you'll be shaping the future growth and success of the organization. The Retail Business Manager serves in a consultative capacity partnering with retailers with end goal of maximizing their retail success and organizational effectiveness. Key responsibilities are advising on store operational issues, formulating competitive strategies and consulting on financial management fundamentals. The successful candidate will be accountable for meeting territory sales targets and increasing the region's top performer designations (i.e. Vision 21). The territory that is to be covered by the successful candidate is the San Francisco/ Santa Cruz Area.

The ideal candidate will have:
Successful retail management, business development or small business ownership experience and expertise
Proven project management experience
Demonstrated knowledge of retail financial management, P&L statements, balance sheets and other financial statements
Bachelors degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience
Strong clientele and interpersonal skills
Drive for immediate and sustained business results
Ability to communicate with and influence diverse groups effectively
Availability to travel between 60% and 80% depending on business needs
Basic PC Literacy
