SALES MANAGER

 

We are a value brand health and beauty care products and household care products manufacturer and importer currently selling nationally in dollar stores, discount stores and some grocery chains.  (www.deltabrands.com) Our business plan calls for expanding our distribution in the Food, Drug and Mass Market channels.

 

We are looking for a Sales Manager who will help our company grow to the next level.

 

The right candidate will have minimum 5 years experience in introducing products to the leading national Food, Drug and Mass Market retailers as well as multi-year account growth experience in these channels. Experience in HBC and/or household products required. Private label experience also helpful.

 

Sales will be through direct account calls as well as through sales reps and brokers.

 

The right person:Will help develop strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.Will set performance goals according to sales plans.Will expand the existing sales rep & broker network for the new distribution channels.Will review markets for customer needs and help develop new products and/or packaging to meet these needs.Will liaise with all departments of the company to ensure that the best customer service possible is provided.Will constantly review and monitor the competitive market situation and advise senior management of strategic or other changes required.

 

Salary is $60 ? $80K plus bonus.  Nationwide travel is required.  Position may be home office based.

 

Candidate must be computer proficient, good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is a must.  This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who requires little supervision but knows that results are all that matter!
