SALES MANAGER NATIONAL ACCOUNTS

 

Must have well established NUTRITIONAL PRODUCT INDUSTRY contacts with private label or retail accounts and experience in new business development.

 

We are seeking a highly qualified and successful Manager of Sales and National Accounts to assist us in taking our successful Nutritional Supplement organization to the next strategic level. Our growth rate is accelerating monthly. You need a proven track record of being able to drive growth in the short term product sales arena, while expanding current blue chip business.

 

Working knowledge of vitamins, minerals, herbs, sports nutrition and diet supplements is necessary.

 

You must be a motivated self starter able to manage a manufacturer?s rep network; calling on mass merchandisers, distributors, private label and retail chains. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong bottom line orientation. Demonstrated skills in partnering at the buyer level and above with key accounts.

 

Manage and direct the overall Company sales effort and the definition of strategies and personal accountability among the sales reps in the achievement of goals and objectives. Foster an atmosphere of teamwork, cooperation, and open communication, with a focus on making money for the company as well as the customer. Have the flexibility and creativity to employ innovative sales techniques and tools that aid the sales growth.

 

Need a driven individual who is excited, motivated and passionate about sales and success. This requires exceptional communication skills to motivate and create a sense of urgency.

 

You must inspire an existing sales rep. force while significantly expanding and completing the organization. Recruit and lead the team of independent sales representatives to ensure that customers? expectations are exceeded.  Develop customer driven business initiatives and process improvements; incorporate hands-on customer experience feedback. Provide leadership and clear direction to sales representatives, giving guidance in all aspects of partnership and alliance development, including lead generation activities, proposal writing, presentations, and negotiations.

 

Guide in customer focused business planning, market and product line opportunities, competitive pricing and promotion, and sales channel compensation strategies. Effective presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Able to travel up to 50% of the time to customers, trade shows and conferences.
