SALES REPRESENTATIVE, STONE

Travertinos Laguna, a young and revolutionary company of extraction manufacture, and distributor of natural stone products, is seeking a motivated Sales Rep for our National Accounts Department.

 

Privately owned and professionally managed, Travertinos Laguna is a leading manufacturing company in Mexico. Our company is built upon trust, integrity, and respect for the individual. Our foundations are strong and we plan to launch several new products within the next few years. Our Plant is located in the North-East region of Mexico.

 

Objective:  Increase market share and sales in the prescribed region/area.  Increase account base by servicing existing customers and finding new ones. Maintain accounts within the assigned territory by maximizing sales, profitability and customer satisfaction for all assigned National Accounts. Provides a variety of customer service duties related to the sale of products.

 

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

? Providing sales support for inside and outside sales associates.

? Developing and maintaining key account relationships.

? Developing and growing future opportunity accounts.

? Actively participating in special show events such as floor covering expositions.

? Assisting customers and architects and provide samples.

? Develops monthly strategy for sales calls and prepares monthly travel calendar based on that strategy.

?  Prepares weekly Sales Call and Expense report. Manage influence and negotiation skills to sell and/or place displays in customer?s showrooms. Manage influence and negotiation skills to get products specified with key architectural firms.

 



Requirements:

The position requires previous sales experience and/or a background in building materials or outside sales experience (minimum of 5 years). Must have excellent written, verbal communication, public presentation skills. Must be available to work evenings and weekends when required. 

Position requires the individual to work and reside in an assigned market.

Language Skills
Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Also knowledge of Spanish, for better communication with the plant in Mexico.
