Responsibilities:
The management of the account management staff will include monitoring personal production, effectiveness, profitability and process for existing accounts of Small Business customers.
Small Business market has customers employing up to 50 employees.
Manage the account management and/or the account service functions.
Manage to retention strategy and growth for existing business.
Responsible for account management effectiveness in Small Business.
Recruit, train and coach the account management staff for the Small Business local sales office.
Responsibility could include maintaining a personal book of business.



Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, working with account management staff in a sales environment.
Proven track record in results-oriented account management and sales/service environment required.
Demonstrate expertise in account management and is knowledgeable of a full range of products.
Sales insurance license must be maintained as required by state law.
Maintain a valid driver's license. Travels as required.Business Savvy

Understand complex concepts and situations presented by the business environment.
Quickly assess roadblocks to retention strategies and select the appropriate solution.
Possess very strong consultative skills.

Influence business by developing an effective account management team.
Understand that decisions made effect the profitability of the business segment.Product Knowledge

Know products sold in their market.
Clearly explain the difference between products.
Select the correct product for the customer's situation.
Make recommendations for changes and can train others on skills.Project Management and Organizational Skills

Lead teams in any project related to the selling environment.
Give directions and bring the project to fruition.
Develop work plans to effectively manage projects.
Translate business strategies and tactics into clear objectives.Relationship Building and Influence

Build internal networks and consensus to shape decisions of middle-to-upper management.
Build and maintain positive, constructive working relationships with senior levels as well as internal and external customers.Strategic Vision

Understand company's vision and mission linked to direct application of methods and plan to accomplish account management strategy.
Rationalize directives to accomplish day-to-day activity in a way that minimizes disruption to our customers.
Implement strategy and lead team to accomplish objectives.
