Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

Xilinx is seeking a professional Sales Compensation Business Analyst with proven experience in supporting a WW Sales Organization.  The candidate must be highly customer focused, possess excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills. Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment and display the ability and the willingness to meet business critical deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

? Key participant in the analysis and resolution of variable compensation investigation requests raised by the internal sales force and third-party sales organizations.

?  Ability to articulate to the sales teams the investigation findings and related commission/incentive plan requirements and guidelines.

? Manage the monthly revenue allocation investigation and adjustment process on a worldwide basis, ensuring all customer divisions or business units are identifying correct customer master name and revenue data is allocating to correct territory and line of business.

? Work closely with Finance to troubleshoot any revenue data issues, identify root causes and provide supporting details for adjustments for use in closing the monthly financial books.

? Must be experienced with the design, implementation and execution of various sales incentives and commissions plans and processes.

? Participate in the development of as-is, gap analysis, to-be process work and information flows tied to systems, revenue data, incentives and commissions.  Prepare special reports and presentations as needed.

? Partner with Sales, Finance and IT to design and implement new business processes or improve upon existing processes primarily in the areas of system integration, pre-split to post-split revenue, incentives and commission management, management reporting and sales efficiency tools. 

? Key participant in the annual compensation design and implementation process.  Partner with the Sales and Finance teams in the development of annual organizational hierarchies, account/customer associations, baseline setting and quota setting processes. Requires a strong understanding of the business and the data.

? Design and maintain incentives databases/applications to assist in the calculation and reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.

? Make recommendations on process improvements, procedural enhancements and system changes.

? Perform data entry and user acceptance testing as needed.

 

Job Qualifications: 

Minimum Requirements:

? Bachelors Degree

? 5 - 6 years analytical experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or Finance, preferably at a semiconductor company

? Experience with the extended sales force - outside reps and distribution partners.

? Highly skilled in business process reengineering - process mapping, gap assessment, to-be process development, business impact analysis

? Strong skills in MS applications, sales analysis, system integration, influence, communication

? Experience with Compensation applications, specifically Synergy a plus

? Experience with Hyperion reporting applications a plus
