Sales Engineer - We have two positions available for the Detroit Metro area; our clients are ready to start interviewing. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in sales engineering or account management calling on Ford or GM. Engineering background is desirable but not mandatory. Our client companies offer excellent advancement opportunities, competitive salaries and full benefits in addition to covering all vehicle expenses.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

? Maintain customer relations on customer programs.

? Strategize future business opportunities .

? Participate in Cross functional Teams to communicate product changes and resolve open commercial issues.

? Update monthly operating reports and sales forecasts. Assist in the sales quote process.

? Coordinate presentations to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

? A Bachelor?s Degree in Science or Business, or some closely related field.

? 5-7 years experience in the automotive industry.

? 2-5 years experience in Sales Account Management calling on either Ford or GM

? Strong communication, negotiating, and interpersonal skills

? A background in mechanical systems is definite plus.
