About the Company

IPC is a metal finishing company providing decorative and performance finishes to a wide range of industrial companies in a

multi-state area.  Our customer base includes automotive and truck part manufacturers, appliance, industrial, metal stamping, and metal fabricators. Products eventually are found in the above markets, plus lawn and garden, furniture, display fixtures, hardware, and sporting goods.

We are a QS certified (soon to be TS) company with 5 product finishing lines applying E-Coat, Powder Coating, Zinc (Rack) plating, duplex nickel plating, and Nickel-Chrome plating.  Upon request, IPC can also provide value-added assembly and custom packaging services for parts we Process.

IPC also operates (2) facilities in Kentucky, (1) in Queretaro, Mexico, and a sister facility Knoxville, TN that performs nickel chrome plating and plastic deposition coating for automotive parts.  

 About the Opportunity

-Potential for significant growth by helping our company continue an industry leading position. 

-Become our primary business development representative: build sales opportunities; identify major prospects and their needs; develop accounts; initiate and close new business.

-Serve as communication link between customer and manufacturing team for quotations, quality, and product launch.

 Qualifications

-Consistently identify new sources of business from component producers and end users (OEMs)

-Focus the business development effort around identification of customer needs and IPC capabilities

-Self-Motivated, well-organized, team player with the ability to develop strong, long-term relationships

-Technically sound with the ability to interface with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing decision makers

-25-40% travel required in a multi-state area

-Strong negotiation and communication skills

-Sound judgment, positive attitude, keen business insight, and high ethical standards

-Strong computer skills with common PC software programs, and experience in sales forecasting/budgeting
