Sales Representative-Mid Atlantic

Entry level direct sales of premium shortening and oil products for Cargill, Inc. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be working independently and with foodservice distributors selling Cargill brands and Cargill manufactured distributor brands to foodservice operators and regional restaurant chain accounts. Responsibilities will include meeting regional sales objectives, participation in distributor trade shows, product sampling, tracking competitive pricing/products, developing customer relationships and providing customer solutions. The position will require frequent overnight travel within the region with some trips outside the region on an occasional basis.



Requirements:
Foodservice sales experience is highly desired
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and produce results
Ability to plan and communicate
Desire to learn and grow within the Cargill organization
Sales region includes PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA.
Relocation is not available for this position.  Candidate must reside in region.  Ideally the candidate will be located in south-central Pennsylvania.
