Sales Support

This position is responsible for providing pre-order and post-order services directly to customers and indirectly to customers through Field sales Personnel.

 

Reporting Relationships

This position reports directly to the president of the company.

This position supports and reports indirectly to the field sales personnel.

This position is a peer to the president?s administrative assistant.

 

Authority

This position has the authority to communicate with customers via telephone, e-mail and written letters.

This position has authority to schedule a personal visit to a customer by a field sales person provide it fits within the field sales person?s published schedule.

This position carries no authority to commit company resources other than their own time and activity in support of customers and field sales personnel.

 

Responsibilities

This position?s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

-Executing customer requests for samples, quotes, literature, data, and general 

 information.

-Sales Lead Follow Up

-Quote Follow Up

-Cold calling prospects

-Order processing, scheduling and re-scheduling

-Monitoring deliveries to schedule and expediting on customer orders

-Customer Correspondence

-Fielding Customer Telephone Calls and E-mails

 

Requirements

MS Office proficiency required
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
