Sales Team Leader-Mothers:

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage regional council relationships directly and indirectly through sales force consistent with organizational objectives.

To create strategies and plans to increase sales and market share through sales force by training, teaching and personal contacts.

Develop and train sales representatives to deliver service model consistent with organizational objectives.

Accountable to manage, and assist in providing service as needed within the region, re: scheduling strategic planning sessions, covering AGSES meetings, delivery coverage, rally and training coverage, etc.

Create and lead the creation of customized service
solutions for councils in the region.

Assist Sales Reps with development and implementation of customized specific strategies based on council and regional needs that lead to increased sales.

Provide oversight for timely preparation and submission of planning documentation and estimates (forecasts) for councils in the region.

Responsible for creating Sales Representative's objectives and evaluating against those objectives.

Maintain staffing of region by recruiting, retaining, and developing highly effective Sales Reps to enhance bottom line results and the image of our brand.

Manage regional expense budgets at and better than plan.

Participate as active members of the Sales Leadership Team in achieving organizational objectives." 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have the ability to work in conditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and extended work schedules.

-This position works predominantly at the customer location and must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Extensive travel is a requirement of this position.

-Undergraduate Degree in Business, Management, related field or equivalent experience required.

-Minimum five to ten years outstanding, successful selling experience.

-This position requires strong interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to negotiate.

-Previous management experience required with increasing levels of responsibility.

-Prefer working knowledge of Girl Scouts. Manage Girl Scout Sales Representatives activities within region resulting in sales growth through retaining all council customers, creating organic volume growth, developing new customers, and increasing market share.
