Salon /Spa Development Partner & Salon Development Specialist

SALON SPA DEVELOPMENT PARTNER

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds relationships with customers by conducting needs analysis and supporting with needs follow-through. Also, conducts salon owner and staff meetings to increase sales opportunities through the introduction of new products, existing products, education, and goal setting
Complies lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Internal Business Builder leads, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Websites, and other sources.
Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to promote and close sales of all of Neill Corporation's business opportunities
Markets additional Neill products by sourcing and delivering business and team building strategies (Aveda, SalonBiz, Team Building, etc.)
Enrolls salons in Aveda/ Neill education programs
Supports salons in growing their business by creating, implementing, and maintaining the retail sales plans
Assist in closing sales in the retail area and on the "cutting floor" by approaching the chair. Interaction with the guest and stylist
Set retail goals for salon and service providers
Creating incentive contest to support business in making salon and service provider retail goals
Plans and executes AVEDA Sensory Experiences, Lifestyle Workshops, Days of Aveda, and Experience Aveda
Implements AVEDA Sensory Experiences on staff books as part of service time
Merchandises salons according to Aveda's visual merchandising program to support retail activity
Implements Basic Foundations
Taking and placing orders while demonstrating necessary reason of why to take inventory. Then creating, implementing, and maintaining inventory system
Implementing and maintaining purescription pad and basket program
Implementing and maintaining 12 points of difference
Maintains customer files
Communicates bi-weekly with ITMs on in-field activity (2 week calendar)
Works with ITM to keep customer profile accurate and keeps files up to date with account activity and needs
Partners with ITM to support customer communication and growth
Investigates and resolves customer challenges
Participates in monthly team meetings, annual company meetings, sells, supports, and participates in all regional and local events
Sends in monthly mileage and expense reports in timely manner

SALON DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

General Purpose of Job:
Increase Neill Corporation sales through securing new accounts within designated markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Delivers new business through meet fiscal year objectives Identifies and converts key market leaders to new Neill customers.
Prospects and qualifies potential Aveda salons while working within the standards of corporate policy and procedures to execute our corporate marketing strategy for Aveda. This will ensure that we gain customers that we desire.
Maintains accurate information on all suspects, prospects, and new customers.
Follows up with all leads within 24 hours.
Canvases 50 +salon/spas weekly and has 5 + appointments.
Updates sales funnel status and pipeline for territory weekly.
Provides SSD Regional and Regional Director with all information prior to opening new doors.
Implements plan to facilitate companion sales opportunites across the Neill business units and Neill partners . (Extended Technologies, Etopa, IM marketing etc.)
Enrolls salon/spas in Aveda/Neill education programs.
Develops new tools for SSD team and SDPs.
Completes and submits weekly reports, expenses, mileage and bonus reports on time.
Implements the basic foundations for success.
Coordinates customer trainings when needed.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Ability to connect with customers and create new relationships with owners/service providers and front desk.
Stregthens in follow up, cold calling and warm calling.
Ability to multi-task, extremely detail oriented.
Must possess strong presentation skills.
Persuasive communicator.
Knowledge of all Aveda domains and Neill business units and partners.
Highly organized and self managed.
Knowledgeable of the beauty industry, client base/non-client base and market leaders.
Handles objections well.
Self promotion in community and industry events.
Profienncy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
SALARY: NEGOTIABLE
