We are conducting an exclusive search for our client a highly successful, well established Insurance Agency also located in Shelton, CT. We are not a contingency search firm, and all of our business is handled on an exclusive/retained search basis. Our client is seeking a qualified, career-minded professional, with a proven record of success within the Insurance industry to become an integral part of the team.

 

Our client has been in business for over 30 years and has a very strong client base in personal, commercial, life & health insurance categories, as well as financial services.

Required experience & credentials:License to sell P&C and/or Health InsuranceDesire for a more than just a job and to work for a company that values & appreciates all of their employees.A proven track record of success as an Insurance Producer. 3 - 5 years experience preferred. Experience working in technical insurance sales a huge plus! - But not required. General Computer & Typing Skills.

 

This company offers a highly aggressive and competitive compensation package including a base salary and generous bonus package.

 

Required Qualities:

 Ethical and Honest. Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening. Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone. Strong organizational skills are a must. Self-motivated/self-starter. Interest in selling products and services based on customer needs. Experience in a variety of computer applications. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong track record and proven ability to achieve mutually agreed upon sales goals.

You will be participating in sales and marketing campaigns for a very successful insurance provider. You will have a dedicated market area to cultivate for yourself, so you will absolute control & opportunity to grow and nurture it. You will benefit and are paid according for your hard-work & success.

Formal training is provided as required.
