Senior Sales Analyst

MKS, Ion Systems has provided solutions to electrostatic charge problems in the semiconductor, mass storage, and flat panel display (FPD) industries for almost three decades.

 

We are currently seeking a SENIOR SALES ANALYST responsible for providing information to customers regarding products and pricing, sales orders, technical assistance, and web navigation.  Also responsible for all aspects of sales order process, from pre-Sales through shipping of product. 

 

Responsibilities:Develops and maintains excellent relationships with Channel Partners, customers, and Sales Managers in the Americas and OEM territories.  Provides solutions to Channel Partner/customer issues as appropriate.  Discusses product capabilities in light of customer needs.  Solves issues that arise from sales-driven orders and quotes, including discounts and commissions.  Generates quotes as necessary.Researches and responds to customer inquiries regarding status of orders. Investigates and resolves production, scheduling, and shipping problems. Informs customers of changes in product availability or delivery schedule.Generates reports of bookings and revenue activity based on territory, region, customer, and product.  Identifies and analyzes trends and projects revenue totals.Reviews, verifies, and approves POs for accuracy and availability of product.  Enters and revises sales orders as appropriate.Manages service revenue sales orders.  Reconciles service account activity and provides reports to management.

 

Requirements:BS in Business Administration or equivalent.3-5 years experience in Sales/Customer Service or customer-focused position.  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills.  Ability to deal with customers where tact is required to maintain harmonious relationship.Specific product knowledge or ability to obtain and convey specific product knowledge.  Experience in semiconductor, mass storage, high-tech, electronics and/or ionization technology preferred.Analytical or statistical background.PC literate with experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes database programs.  Experience with Crystal reports preferred.
